How to get to Brisbane International Cruise Terminal

The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal (BICT) is the main place for cruise ships arriving and departing from Queensland’s capital city of Brisbane. You’ll find it located at:
Address: 1 Cruise Terminal Drive (access via Marine Road), Pinkenba, Queensland 4008.
Phone: (07) 3258 4888
This is around 15 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD and close to Brisbane Airport. BICT is a modern facility and is designed to handle some of the world’s largest cruise ships and provides easy access for travellers.
Some of the cruiselines that depart from BICT include: Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Carnival Cruises.
Car & Taxi
If you’re travelling by car or taxi, the terminal can be reached via the Port of Brisbane Motorway. From the city, follow Kingsford Smith Drive towards the Gateway Bridge, then take the motorway towards Luggage Point and Marine Road. Cruise Terminal Drive is clearly signposted so you shouldnt miss it, and there are designated drop-off and pick-up zones as well as parking options nearby. A taxi or rideshare (e.g. Uber) from Brisbane city typically takes about 25–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transport
Unfortunately, public transport to the terminal is limited. The nearest train stations are Doomben and Eagle Junction, but you will need to transfer to a taxi or rideshare to reach the terminal as buses do not service the final stretch into Pinkenba. We recommend that cruise passengers who are using public transport should allow extra time for connections, or consider using a shuttle service if available, especially when travelling with luggage.
